FIVE CARD DRAW POKER

Five Card Draw Poker is the most basic of all poker games, familiar to millions of people due to its wide exposure on western movies and home games.

In fact, this is the poker variant that most people think of when they hear the word "poker". Due to its extremely high level of basic skill, this is very seldom offered in casinos.

Five Card Draw Poker typically played by 3 to 6 players.

Each player is dealt five cards face down. There is a betting round after the deal, starting with whoever is sitting to the left of the dealer.

After a round of betting, each player decides how many cards they want to draw by giving from zero to five cards to the dealer and then drawing however many cards they gave away.

Another round of betting then occurs, and the players show their hands. The player with the best hand wins the pot.
